Where do you start? What do you study next?

We recommend the Gospel of Mark, the fast paced narrative of Jesus' life, as the first book for people new to Bible study. Follow this with Acts to see what happens to the people introduced in Mark and get the history of the early church. Then in Genesis explore the beginnings of the world and the big questions of where we came from and why we are here.

**Foundations for Faith varies from the usual NBS format: the last few lessons are more directive than our other guides. It is best used as a first study in reaching groups from non-Christian cultures, in church groups, or in groups where all participants express an interest in examining Christianity.

It is highly recommended that groups build a framework of knowledge of Christianity based on books of the Bible as soon as possible rather than studying a series of topical studies. Foundational "musts" are: Mark, Acts, Genesis, and then John and Romans.

The above study guides are published by Neighborhood Bible Studies.
